Balti Bean Burger Bagel BAD BOYS
Balti Bean Burger Bagel BAD BOYS! Try saying THAT! Now try it again! And again! And again! In fact shout it In a public place π
I made these Balti Bean Burgers a few days ago as I wanted to try out a new frying pan, and had a busy week so a little meal prep was really useful. They were a solid 7.5 outta 10 effort, took 5 mins to prep and 10-15 to cook, so totally doable for even the most time constrained foodie.
Oh & they are obviously meat free, vegan, single and ready to mingle.
Hereβs how you make em! (This should easily make 5-6 burgers so perfect for sharing is caring)
Drain a tin of chick peas & a tin of black beans & add to a large mixing bowl.
Add 2-3 large grated carrots, 1/2 onion, finely chopped red pepper & small tin sweetcorn.
Now add the kicker β 1tbsp of balti curry paste, 2 tsp of curry powder, tsp dried chilli flakes, dash soy sauce & salt n peppa.
Add 1 cup (just a tea mug size not one of those massive Sports Direct mugs or anything) of your fave flour.
Now mash it all together with a potato masher, form in burger shapes in your hands and fry for 4-5 mins on each side on medium to high heat to cook through.
Serve on a bagel, a bap, some toast, with a salad, some chips⦠no judgement here
And there you have it 6 perfect Balti Bean Bagel Bad Boy Burgers or whatever it says up there π
Enjoy!
