Welcome to The Lockdown Series – 24 progressive Kickass Bootcamp & Yoga sessions, filmed over the first 8 weeks of the Coronavirus lockdown, from Yoga Provider of the Year.
Kicked off on Monday 23 March, the first week of the never-to-be-forgotten period known as ‘lockdown’. We shared eight weeks of (my) sanity saving, downward doggy, walkout burpee, cobra pushup, sliding lunges, side plank, pink socks, 90s rocks, kicking lights, tins a beans, tricep dips and mountain climber zen wonderfulness.
Shared LIVE on Facebook & Instagram, and joined by awesome folk from Main Street, Tempo to Maryland USA, people I’ve never had the pleasure to meet, and many, many total newbies, we gave that lockdown angst the boot from the corner of my living room, with my teething 7 month old wee legend son, trying his very best to stay quiet in the next room.
The power of yoga & exercise to do some good amidst worldwide uncertainty was never more evident than the very many wonderful messages of thanks that I received, and I’m so happy to share the series again here with you.

8 X FITNESS BELFAST KICKASS BOOTCAMP SESSIONS
A progressive programme targeting the whole body, we’ll combine bodyweight Kickass Cardio, Kickass Strength, and Kickass Yoga moves, with just a sprinkling of Kickass 90’s playlists. Accessible, yet intense home workouts, in a fun and supportive (virtual) environment. Expect to work hard, but leave feeling calm, confident and STRONG!

Before starting this (or any exercise programme), if you have any concerns about your overall fitness, you should consult your GP (or other medical professional - Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist etc). This is particularly important if you are returning from illness, a break in exercise, if you are pregnant, taking medication, have low or high blood pressure, or have any other existing medical condition or injuries.
In this programme, as with any exercise programme, if any movement doesn't feel right, take a break and/or skip poses or sequences that are not suitable for you. If you feel dizzy, light-headed, faint, or if you experience any other discomfort, STOP immediately and rest, consulting medical advice if the symptoms don’t pass.
Make sure you have enough space to move safely and freely without obstacles or obstructions.
Most episodes include warm ups and cool downs, however some might not. You know your own body – always include extra warm ups and cool downs where needed to avoid injuries.
If you buy an Online or LIVE programme, you’ll have agreed to use it responsibly and fairly, and that includes not sharing it with others who will not have had the opportunity to fully understand it, it’s use, and agree to the terms & conditions.
