Life-changing Liz - Thursday's at Flow Yoga Studio Belfast
5 Years ago I attended @drewelty ‘s Thursday lunchtime yoga class at Flow Studio Belfast for the very first time. I had niggling shoulder and neck injuries that greatly impacted my ability to enjoy my work & was riddled with a constant lingering layer of anxiety that seemed to follow me wherever I went. I left the class that day feeling calm, subtle, focused and empowered.
I began booking my diary and clients and just about everything in my life around ensuring I could be there each week. I literally never missed a class for more than 2 years before feeling confident and competent to attend other classes.

The effects of the practice began filtering into other aspects of my life, improving my business life, relationships & all but eradicating any long standing anxiety issues. A passion was born. A passion that has led me to a lifelong dedication to learning, practicing and preaching the benefits of a regular yoga practice to just about anyone who’ll listen.
-
I was thrilled to spend much of last year learning from @drewelty & Eleanor at their incredible Yoga Teacher Training course and even managed to nab myself a role teaching yoga to all the early risers each Friday at their incredible studio.
-
I attended Liz’s class again this week as I try my very best to do each week and was informed that liz was stepping away from this particular class and was handing it over TO ME!
-
To say that I am humbled, honoured and proud to be asked to continue to spread this incredible teachers message each Thursday is an understatement. I hope to bring all the passion and enthusiasm that those who practice with Liz regularly come to expect, In the hope that maybe I can inspire someone the way that she has inspired me.
-
Thankfully Liz is by no means stepping away from the mat she’s merely stepping back from some teaching commitments to focus more on the awesome community that her, Eleanor & the team Flow Studio Belfast have built.

If you have never practiced yoga before, or feel that it is “not for you” I urge you to come practice at Flow Studio Belfast with Liz or the other teachers (or even me 😉) you just might unleash a newfound passion of your own.
