5 MINUTE YOGA FLOW FOR LOWER BACK STRAIN

Check out this awesome little flow I use to begin almost every class I teach. Simple, but super effective warm up for the entire back of body.

🔥 Perfect as a grounding warm up to a longer flow or as a simple everyday mobility sequence to combat strain in the back of the body.
-
😌 When moving, focus on a deep grounding inhale that explores the entire body & a soft smooth exhale that calms a chattering mind and releases any physical tension.
-
📚 Sequence shown:
-
🐈 🐮 Cat/ Cow - 5 breaths slowly flowing between each.
-
🤔 Broken Table - Extend arm & opposite foot & hold, engaging lower tummy & breathing deeply for 5 breaths.
-
👶🏼 Childs pose - Enjoy 5 breaths in the middle & 5 to each side.
-
🐶 Downward Dog - Enjoy a letter A frame with body and focus on ease of breath here. Feel free to bend knees & enjoy 5 breaths.
-
👴 Deadman's hang - Enjoy 5 breaths in a deep forward fold, allowing arms to be heavy & chin to fold towards chest.
-
🚶‍♀️Roll to stand - Enjoy 5 full breaths rolling to a standing position stacking 1 vertebrae at a time.
-
💃🏻 Option to style & profile, strutting through the remainder of your day like the Nature Boy Ric Flair.
-
🏃🏼 Use the pace of your breath to dictate your tempo & should breathing become compromised or you feel any lingering tension or pain... CALL IT QUITS!
